Men Armed with Gun, Screwdriver Rob Swampscott Home
Police are looking for three individuals who robbed a Swampscott resident's home Saturday night.

A Swampscott resident was not injured Saturday night when three men armed with a gun and a screwdriver robbed his Fairview Avenue home.
According to police, the men entered the unit at 12 Fairview Avenue at about 3 a.m. Saturday and robbed the male resident inside. One man had a gun and another held a screwdriver to the victim’s throat while demanding money and jewelry.
Det. Sgt. Tim Cassidy said it did not appear to be a random crime based on statements the victim has given to police. Cassidy said the robbers weren’t known to the victim, but did appear to have some knowledge of the home. Police also said that the men did not break in to the home and either entered through an unlocked door or had a key.
