Motor Vehicle Stop Leads to Drug Possession, Other Charges

At 6:16 a.m., an elderly woman was locked out of her home.

At 10:39 a.m., a motorcycle crash was reported near Atlantic and Bradlee.

At 12:24 p.m., a caller reported that a utility wire was sticking out of the ground near his house where a recent re-paving job had been completed.

At 1:03 p.m., an old black dog was reported to be wandering around Danvers Road.

At 2:36 p.m., a caller reported utility castings were exposed in a recent road construction.

At 7:50 p.m., a woman reported a large turtle had become stuck in her backyard.

At 9:56 p.m., a caller reported a black SUV was parked in the driveway of an empty house and the caller could see a flashlight in the residence.

At 10:20 p.m., a caller reported fireworks being shot in the area.

At 11:32 p.m., police arrested Angel Rivas, 25, of Lynn, following a motor vehicle stop. Rivas was charged with operating on a suspended license, not having a license in possession and possession of a Class E drug.
