Motor Vehicle Stops Lead to Drug Charges, Warrant Arrests

Friday, April 24

At 1:27 a.m., a suspicious motor vehicle was reported at Uno. It turned out to be an employee of the restaurant and checked out.

At 10:34 a.m., a found license plate was turned in.

At 11:02 a.m., Joseph Litwin, 34, of Swampscott, was arrested following a motor vehicle stop. He was charged with operating on a suspended license and possession of a Class E drug.

At 11:20 a.m., motor vehicle breaking and entering was reported on Preston Beach.

At 5:41 p.m., a caller reported being threatened by a contractor over a parking issue.

At 8:23 p.m., a caller reported numerous kids playing basketball on his neighbor’s property.

At 9:55 p.m., Ivanilton Macedo, 34, Salem, was arrested following a motor vehicle stop. He was charged with operating on a suspended license and an equipment violation. He was also arrested on outstanding warrants for speeding and operating on a suspended license.
