Nahant Women's Club recently held a fundraiser at the Tides Restaurant in Nahant to raise funds for A Bed for Every Child. The well-attended event raised over $700 to support the initiative whose goal is to give children living in poverty new twin beds so they can get a good night's sleep. A Bed for Every Child, an initiative of the Massachusetts Coalition for the Homeless, has distributed over 3,600 beds to children throughout the Commonwealth and plans to raise funds to gift 250 beds to 250 kids this holiday season.

"I want to express my sincere thanks to everyone who attended this successful fundraiser. A special thank you to Carolyn Jundzilo-Comer, a noted artist, who contributed a lovely painting to our silent auction. I am proud of our collective support for A Bed for Every Child," said Cheryl Conte, President of Nahant Women's Club.
