The former home of Swampscott’s Red Rock Bistro will have new life later this year.
Developers plan to open Mission On The Bay in the former restaurant site, according to ItemLive.com. The two-level restaurant will feature a a rooftop deck, two bars (“eating counters” according to one of the partners), an open kitchen and a snack bar/take-out counter where customers can pick up a bite as the stroll the beach.
The project had been delayed due to a myriad of financial, historical and regulatory issues that have now been resolved.
