Police said Michael Robinson, 40, had cut off his ankle bracelet days ago.

LYNN, MA — A Gloucester man suspected of robbing a bank was arrested after authorities stopped the bus he was on Monday, several days after he cut off his ankle bracelet from a prior conviction, police said.
Michael Robinson, 40, was arrested after Lynn Police, working off information provided by state troopers, stopped the bus on Chestnut Street. Police said Robinson robbed the Institution for Savings bank in Gloucester Monday morning. He will be charged with the unarmed robbery.
