North Shore Cocaine Trafficker Arrested: Police

A North Shore cocaine trafficker with about $8,000 worth of product was arrested Sunday, police said.

STURBRIDGE, MA — A North Shore cocaine trafficker with about $8,000 worth of product was arrested in Sturbridge Sunday.

Domingo Ortiz, 51, of Lynn, was found in a vehicle with 85 grams of cocaine, according to State Police.

Ortiz was a passenger in a Pontiac Bonneville driven by Jeannie Ortiz, 41, of Stoughton, police said. An officer pulled over the couple after Ortiz committed a moving violation, police said. A subsequent investigation turned up 85 grams of cocaine in the vehicle. The amount of drugs has a street value of roughly $8,000.

Both suspects were charged with cocaine trafficking and conspiracy. They were held on $25,000 bail pending an arraignment Monday in Dudley District Court.
