North Shore Veterans Beach Party Rescheduled To This Weekend
The Swampscott/Lynn Disabled Veterans of America event is set for Red Rock Park in Lynn.

SWAMPSCOTT, MA — The North Shore veterans beach party postponed from July because of weather has been rescheduled for this Sunday.
The E.F. Gilmore Disabled American Veterans of Lynn and Swampscott are sponsoring the event at Red Rock Park in Lynn through a grant from the Better Beach Program of the Save the Harbor/Save the Bay organization.
The beach event will include food, drinks and beach games as well as have information available about veterans services on the North Shore.

"We are hoping that this event will both be fun and informative for all veterans," Swampscott/Lynn DAV Commander Jeffrey Blonder said.
The event runs from noon to 3 p.m. and is free to attend for veterans and their families.
