North Shore Vietnam Veterans Breakfast Set For Swampscott School

The free public event will recognize local Vietnam War veterans and include remarks from public officials and a guest speaker.

SWAMPSCOTT, MA — A Vietnam veterans breakfast and ceremony sponsored by the Lynn Swampscott/Peabody/Salem DAV Chapter 64 is scheduled for next week at the former Clark School in Swampscott.

The annual event will take place on March 27 at 8:30 a.m.

The free program is intended to provide space for recognition, reflection, and gratitude.

Veterans, elected officials, community leaders, and residents are invited to gather in a respectful and welcoming setting. The breakfast will include remarks from invited public officials and a veteran guest speaker, along with time for informal conversation and connection.

The focus of the program is on making sure Vietnam veterans feel seen, valued and appreciated for their service, particularly many who returned home without the recognition afforded to other generations.
