Police: Attempted Car Break-in Reported on Grant Road

Sunday, Dec. 14
At 11:46 p.m., a Monument Avenue resident reported her boyfriend was outside knocking on windows in hopes of getting in. She said he may have been intoxicated. She wants him to go home. The man left the area.

At 7:33 a.m., a Barnstable Street resident reported a man was checking out a house. He was described as a white male with a backpack who was carrying a Dunkin’ Donuts cup. He was headed toward the train station. Police were unable to locate the man.
At 4:04 p.m., a caller reported an elderly man was sitting across from St. John’s Church clutching an orange bag. She wasn’t sure if he was asleep or passed out.

At 4:14 p.m., police received a report of a past larceny.
Tuesday, Dec. 16
At 12:51 a.m., a Grant Road resident reported a man trying to break into a parked car. The man fled toward Farragut Road. He was dressed in a black shirt and a black hat.
