Police Respond to Reports of Middle School Student 'Boasting' About a Firearm

At 12:50 a.m., a caller reported that an elderly female was walking around in her nightgown near Elmwood Road and Monument Avenue. Officers could not locate any such party.
At 7:58 a.m., police responded to the middle school after reports of a student boasting he had a firearm. Patch reached out to the Swampscott Police Department for further information about this log entry, but did not receive a call back.

At 2:10 p.m., a woman reported graffiti on the church behind her home. She also said that possible entry to the building had been gained. The responding officer found that entry had been gained to the convent on Blaney Street.
At 2:36 p.m., a woman reported her suspicions that someone intentionally turned on the spigot outside her home and flooded her basement.
