The $900 million jackpot is the largest in U.S. lottery history, and the cash payout option is estimated at $558 million.

The odds winning the grand prize are about 1 in 292 million. Powerball is offered in 44 states, Washington D.C., the U.S. Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico.
