Puritan Lawn Partners With Citizen’s Inn Peabody
Employees donate their time and set up school supply
Employees of Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Rose Hernandez, Andrea Moore, and Lois Noseworthy donated their time to the Citizen’s Inn by cooking a lasagna and meatball dinner for their residents on Wednesday, March 8th. Italian cookies were donated by D’Orsi’s Bakery and Deli. Since 1983, Citizen’s Inn of Peabody has been providing transitional housing and meals to local residents.
Puritan Lawn will be also be working with the Inn by setting up a school supply drive for the children that reside there. Examples of much needed school supplies include pencils, erasers, notebooks and backpacks. A drop box will be available at the office of Puritan Lawn, 185 Lake St., Peabody, MA 01960. Monetary donations to the Citizen’s Inn can also be mailed to the same address.
Established in 1933, Puritan Lawn Memorial Park is recognized as a leader in educating families on the importance of preplanning their burial needs. Puritan Lawn is the oldest memorial park in the East and sits on 140 scenic acres bordering three lakes and conservation land.
