Rain Forecast Postpones Swampscott Harborfest; Farmer's Market Opening Day Set

SWAMPSCOTT, MA — A 12th consecutive Saturday of rain forced the postponement of the annual Swampscott Harborfest to its rain date of Sunday.

Swampscott Recreation is partnering with the Swampscott Yacht Club for this year's event.

This family-friendly program includes music, food, drinks, kids activities, craft and marine vendors, and more.

This year's event includes a return of the Chowder Contest for a second year.

The Swampscott Farmers Market also opens for the season on Sunday on the Town Hall lawn.
