Register Now: Swampscott Halloween Display Contest
Get creative and decorate your home for Halloween and join the contest! Registration lasts until Oct. 27.
SWAMPSCOTT, MA — It's about that time of year again. Houses all over the country are decorating for Halloween, and Swampscott is holding a contest just for that!
For the Love of Swampscott, a nonprofit aimed at boosting enthusiasm and pride in Swampscott residents, is throwing the third annual Halloween Display Contest. They're asking residents "to scare up a display outside of their home or business this Halloween season" and maybe win the contest!
The program is free to enter and judge. For the Love of Swampscott will post a list of competing displays on their website and invites residents to view the displays and vote for their top three.

The prize for winners is a selection of "awesome Swampscott related prizes," according to a press release. They had over 40 houses in 2015, and more in 2016, according to the release.
Owners are responsible for everything related to their decorations. Registration and decorations must be done by dusk on Friday, Oct. 27. You can register here.
