Revere restaurant begins to stand out with former chef from Red Rock Bistro
D'Amelio's Restaurant in Revere is beginning to stand out with great food and live entertainment!
If you asked the husband and wife team of D’Amelio’s Restaurant in Revere what makes them different from any other restaurant in the area, they will tell you first, it’s the great food. After scoring Edgar Alleyne, the former executive chef from the once famous Red Rock Bistro in Swampscott, Joseph and Antonietta D’Amelio knew they were on course to offer some of the greatest Italian cuisine the north shore has to offer. As if that weren’t enough, “D’Amelio’s off The Boat”, located at 306 Revere St. in Revere, also offers free Valet Parking, with pick up and drop off service to the hotels in Boston. The “off the boat” part of the name, infers exactly what it says, because all of the seafood they serve is so fresh, it’s “right off the boat.
Joseph D’Amelio grew up in the restaurant business in the north end of Boston and worked at his family’s restaurant for years before opening his own eatery in East Boston. But he and Antonietta quickly outgrew that space and found an opportunity to expand into their current location where the old Magio’s Restaurant operated for decades. They remodeled the restaurant to include a beautiful bar and lounge for an informal dinner in the front of the restaurant, or customers may also choose to be seated in the main dining room where old school booths and tables provide an authentic “little Italy” vibe, as if you were dinning in Manhattan.
Now the husband and wife team are expanding there horizons to include “live” entertainment every weekend and using some of the hottest acts in the area to attract a dinner crowd that also likes to hear great music, dance, and have fun. “There are three things I want to stand out when people visit our restaurant”, said Joseph, “I want them to have an unforgettable meal that they will think about for a long time, a great dining experience with fantastic service, and most of all we want them to have fun. There are many other restaurants in the area that people can choose from to go “out to eat.” When people come to D’Amelio’s, we want them to feel like they “went out for dinner” and had an amazing experience at an affordable price. We believe all of these things are what makes us stand out from any other restaurant in the area.”
