Robin Stairman runs the Boston Marathon to raise awareness for Liver Disease

Robin Stairman, age 44 will be running on the behalf of the American Liver Foundation. This will be her eleventh year on the team and has already raised over 40 thousand dollars in the past 10 years.  This is a great cause, because , liver disease is a major problem . With American obesity, fatty liver disease is the next wave of health issues  to worry about.  That combined with Hepatitis A B and C represents millions of afflicted Americans.
Robin is also involved with the Patient Runners Connection Program.   It connects runners with patients who been affected by liver disease. This is a very special program and is very unique for each individual involved with the program. Mrs. Stairman is  connected with a lovely lady named Emily from Maine who in the past has had  two liver transplants. According to Mrs. Stairman "Emily has been my inspiration and has provided emotional support when times got tough throughout the training season. She has been my motivator to get out the door and run. Each step, I  run brings me closer to the finish line and closer to a cure for Liver Disease."  Robin hopes to bring more awareness to Liver Disease and to help end Liver Disease in our time.
Robin encourages all to donate now to The American Liver Foundation by clicking on the link below..
