Salem Police Dive Team Searches Swampscott Pond
Salem Police are searching Fosters Pond in Swampscott for evidence related to a recent crime in Salem.
SWAMPSCOTT, MA – Salem Police's Dive Team searched for evidence in Fosters Pond in Swampscott this morning: The evidence is reportedly linked to a past home invasion in Salem, according to Swampscott Police Sgt. Tim Cassidy.
Cassidy said the home invasion was about a month ago, but police had to wait for the pond to thaw before searching it.
