On April 2nd the Swampscott Selectmen approved the following statement:
"The Solarize Swampscott Program through the Dept. of Energy Resources and the Mass. Clean Energy Center is a wonderful opportunity to offer clean and affordable electric energy for the residents and businesses in town. Because of the vetting process involved with procuring the solar installer, RGS Energy, one can expect a high level of service from a reputable company that passed a high level of scrutiny from the town as well as the state. We, the Board of Selectmen, are in full support of Solarize Swampscott and encourage all residents and businesses to have a free solar audit."
