Gun Found In Elmo Lunchbox In Swampscott
Swampscott police said three men were arrested after they were found with a lot more than a PB&J inside an Elmo lunchbox.
SWAMPSCOTT, MA — Three men were arrested Sunday morning after police reportedly found a stolen loaded gun inside an Elmo lunchbox.
The arrests came after a morning traffic stop, according to records. Theritchnide Roc, 27, of Beverly was arrested and charged with second offense of operating under the influence of alcohol and other motor vehicle and firearm charges, including having a firearm without an FID card.
Police also arrested Samuel Mulumba, 23, of Beverly and Alexander Suffreti, 24, of Lynn on firearms charges.

The Boston Globe reported one of the weapons in the car was an assault rifle and a fully loaded, high-capacity magazine.
