Peter Battinelli got things going for St. John's with a length of the court drive for the first basket of the game. After Lynnfield evened things up, Luke Marshall's jumper sent Swampscott on a 6-0 run to take the early lead.
Both teams settled into an exchange of baskets. With 6:55 to go in the half, Chad Swigor fed Gavin Sullivan for a 3-pointer and a 15-6 St. John's lead.
Matty Moran's bucket with 45 ticks left on the clock gave Swampscott its biggest lead as they entered half-time up 27-15.
Lynnfield scored first to start the second half. More than two minutes went by before St. John's could manage to score. But when they finally did, it was a big 3-pointer by Brendan Bradley.

This started a 13-0 run finished with a Gavin Sullivan hoop for a 40-17 lead with 7:38 left in the game. OLA would never get back into the game.
A late offensive put back by Jack Leahy finished the scoring as Swampscott cruised to a 58-24 win.
Gavin Sullivan led St. John's with 9 points and Josh Allen added eight. Despite being held scoreless, Noah Carreiro had 8 rebounds, 2 assists, and a block in the win. St. John's has now won 3 of their last 4 games.
