Swampscott 2024 Town Election Voter Guide: Candidates, Where To Vote
The annual Swampscott town election will take place on Tuesday.

SWAMPSCOTT, MA — Swampscott voters will head to the polls on Tuesday as the town elects a new member of the Select Board while choosing candidates for town meeting and a handful of other uncontested races.
Danielle Leonard and Kate Arrington are vying for the one open Select Board seat this year. Peter Spellios opted not to seek re-election after nine years on the Select Board.
Michael McClung is a candidate for re-election as town moderator, Charlies Patsios is running for the open seat 0n the Board of Assessors, Glenn Paster is the lone candidate on the ballot for re-election to the School Committee, Johannah Morgen is the lone candidate on the ballot for the open seat on the Library Board of Trustees, Gargi Cooper is the lone candidate on the ballot for the open Board of Health seat and Jer Davin Jurma is the lone candidate for a five-year term on the Planning Board.

Town meeting members are elected by precinct.
Everyone will vote at Swampscott High School at 200 Essex Street. Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Residents who received a mail-in ballot must return the ballot by 8 p.m. on Tuesday.
Mail-in ballots can be returned to the Town Clerk's office during Town Hall business hours or dropped in the drop box outside Town Hall at 22 Monument Avenue.
