This weekend the Swampscott Farmers' Market will open for their second season.

The Swampscott Farmers' Market is held every Sunday rain or shine at the Swampscott High School, 200 Essex Street from 10 am - 1 pm.

Opening Day events include face painting, photos booth and seed planting hosted by Brick Ends Farm.

The market offers 17 vendors selling fresh in-season produce and other natural products.
