Swampscott Fire To Help 'Extinguish Breast Cancer' This Month

SWAMPSCOTT, MA — The Swampscott Fire Department is battling more than fires in October as crews sell pink T-shirts to benefit the Ellie Fund.

The Ellie Fund provides financial support for families dealing with a caregiver with breast cancer.

The T-shirts include the Swampscott Fire Department logo and "Fighting More than Fires — Let's Extinguish Breast Cancer."

Shirts are available at fire headquarters and Town Hall customer service during normal business hours, as well as at the Swampscott Farmers Market each Sunday.

Pink short-sleeve shirts at $20 and gray long-sleeve shirts are $25. Cash or checks are accepted.
