Swampscott Fireworks, Road Closures: 2018 Guide

Swampscott's Fourth of July festivities and celebrations are ready to excite!

SWAMPSCOTT, MA — The Swampscott fireworks are on for Tuesday, July 3, 2018. Even though the Fourth of July itself is absent the festivities, the celebrations preceding it promise to be exciting.

The fireworks begin at dusk at Nahant Bay - figure between 9-9:15 p.m. They will last until 10 p.m. You can expect massive crowds on Humphrey Street and Lynn Shore Drive, of course. Both will close at 6:30 p.m.

There will be no parking on Humphrey Street from Lynn to Redington Street. There will also be no parking on Monument Ave. from Elmwood to Burrill, and on Burrill from Claremont to Monument.

If you yearn for Fourth of July fireworks, Marblehead's Fireworks and Harbor Illumination begins at 9 p.m. on Wednesday.
