Swampscott Free Pop-Up Store This Weekend At Big Blue Bargains

SWAMPSCOTT, MA — Swampscott residents looking for household items, clothing or furniture will have a chance to pick them up for free this weekend at Big Blue Bargains.

The nonprofit is planning a free pop-up store in its trailer on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at 155 Norfolk Avenue.

The pop-up will include clothing, glassware, home goods, art, rugs, furniture and other items. The event is being offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

Organizers will manage entry if the building reaches its occupancy limit on a one-in, one-out system.

Items cannot be held for later pickup. Visitors are advised to bring a vehicle large enough to take items away that day.

Those driving to the event are advised that there is extra parking behind the building. People using that parking area will need to walk around the park to enter through the front of the building.

Those arriving by Uber or taxi can be dropped off at the front door.

Shoppers are asked only to take available items and not remove store displays.
