Swampscott Girls Take Gold at Maccabis

Swampscott’s Ariella Salter and Bianca Kostinden won Gold Medal at the JCC Maccabi Games, a type of Olympics for Jewish teens. 

The JCC of the North Shore led a delegation of 17 young athletes to the Games in Rockland, NY, where they competed with hundreds of teens from around the U.S.

Salter and Kostinden won Gold in Dance.

Five Marblehead athletes were also in the JCC delegation.

They were Mark Cohen, Sam Cohen, Jeff Stern, Joshua Tassinari and Tedd York.

The Games ended Aug. 17.
