Swampscott Holiday Parade Returns For 2021
The Swampscott Police Association event, which the coronavirus crisis canceled in 2020, is back on Dec. 11.
SWAMPSCOTT, MA —A year after the coronavirus health crisis forced the cancellation of the Swampscott Police Association's annual Holiday Parade, it is returning to the streets of Swampscott for 2021.
The parade to celebrate all the holidays of the season is set for 5:30 p.m. on Dec. 11.
"The membership of the Police Association is looking forward to hosting this wonderful event for the residents of Swampscott," organizers said.

The parade will begin at Swampscott High School and travel Essex to Burrill to Paradise to Vinnin Square to Salem Street. The parade then moves to Humphrey Street before ending at Town Hall.
The Swampscott Recreation Department will be hosting a post-parade party with music and family events on the Town Hall lawn.
