Swampscott To Host 5 Free World Cup Watch Parties On Town Hall Lawn

Food vendors will be available, and attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs.

SWAMPSCOTT, MA — Swampscott is planning a series of free community viewing parties for the 2026 FIFA World Cup on Town Hall Lawn, inviting residents and visitors to gather for matches from the international tournament next June.

Matches will be shown on the town's large outdoor screen. Food vendors will be available, and attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs.

The town said the events are part of a collaborative effort involving Swampscott, neighboring communities and the Massachusetts Office of Travel and Tourism. That partnership worked to secure the public viewing licensing required through FIFA.
