Swampscott To Host Free Earth Fest Event On Town Hall Lawn
This year's event will include food, giveaways, family-friendly activities and information booths.
SWAMPSCOTT, MA — Swampscott will host a day of food, family-friendly activities, giveaways and information booths during its fourth annual Earth Fest.
The free event runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the Town Hall Lawn. The program will be moved indoors to the former Clarke School in case of rain.
Those attending can get a free American Plum tree from the Tree Committee, free native seed packets from The New Yankee Garden, have the chance to get up close with intertidal creatures from the Northeastern Marine Science Center and learn how to tune up their bike at the Bike Kitchen.

Grab the Bagel is among the food vendors on site.
Other kids' activities and giveaways will be available from Big Blue Bargains, Swampscott Conservancy, Friends of the Swampscott Rail Trail, Open Space, Solid Waste, and Climate Action.
