Swampscott Kindergarten Registration Open For Next Year

SWAMPSCOTT, MA — Swampscott Public Schools is ready to welcome the Class of 2036.

Kindergarten registration is open until Jan. 20.

Registration information is available in Albanian, Arabic, Chinese, French, Gujarati, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Swahili, Ukrainian and Urdu.

Those who require an interpreter to help with the registration process should reach out to Alyssa Brothers, Director of Integrated Preschool, at kregistration@swampscott.k12.us.

Once the registration is complete, Swampscott Public Schools will send families an email regarding the next steps for registration.

The Swampscott School Committee has adopted a floating attendance policy. Elementary siblings are placed together, then students who require district special education programs are placed next, and finally, all other students are placed considering the proximity to the school while maintaining equitable class sizes.

Families will be notified by email of elementary school assignments in May.
