SWAMPSCOTT, MA — Swampscott's Select Board and Board of Health meetings will be held remote-only on Wednesday amid a rise in COVID-19 cases on the North Shore.

The town announced the shift "to that end" late Wednesday morning — along with a reminder for residents and those planning to be in public places to get tested for COVID-19 if they are experiencing any symptoms.

"With a rise in COVID cases in our area, we want to make sure that everyone stays safe - residents, friends, family, and other community members," the town said. "If you test positive for COVID, please isolate at home and follow the state's COVID-19 Isolation and Exposure Guidance for the general public."
