At 11:43 a.m., a caller reported that an illegally parked vehicle was making it impossible for a person in a wheelchair to cross the street. The vehicle was tagged.
At 12:27 p.m., a caller reported someone had parked their vehicle in a resident parking spot and then gotten on the train. That vehicle was tagged.

At 1:17 p.m., police received a report that a window had been broken at Swampscott Middle School and access to the school was now possible through a girls’ restroom. The DPW responded to board up the window.

At 9:35 p.m., a caller reported hearing an explosion and then seeing smoke. Units responded and found it have possible been caused by fireworks.
At 10:07 p.m., a caller reported hearing a woman screaming and also the voices of a man and children. Police tracked down the source of the noise and the occupants of the home said they’d been playing a game and everything was fine.
