Swampscott Police Arrest a Florida Man Accused of Using Stolen Credit Cards to Purchase Gift Cards at Walgreens
Police responded to the Walgreen's on Paradise Road Swampscott after the manager reported the incident.

A South Florida man has been arrested by Swampscott Police, and issued a summons by Peabody Police. for using stolen credit cards at Walgreens in Swampscott and Peabody. Salem Police are investigating similar incidents at the Walgreens on New Derby Street and the Walgreen’s on Boston Street in Salem.
Peabody Police were called to investigate credit card fraud on Tuesday afternoon at the Walgreens on Main Street. A store employee called and stated that someone had just purchased two gift cards with stolen credit cards.
Peabody Police were in contact with other police departments.

Salem Police Department stated the suspect committed crimes at a Salem Walgreens, but fled prior to the officer’s arrival.
Swampscott Police Department also called and stated the party committed crimes at their Walgreens, and provided the suspect’s information. Police responded to the Walgreen’s on Paradise Road Swampscott after the manager reported the incident.

Estaine Vargas-Rosemond, 36, of South Miami, Florida, was arrested on 14 total offenses, according to a police log entry at 3:50 p.m., according to the Salem News.
Peabody Police issued a summons for Vargas-Rosemond for larceny under $250 by false pretense, larceny over $250 by false pretense, and two counts of identity fraud.
