Swampscott Police Issue Warning After Rash Of Car Break-Ins
Police said there have been several recent reported break-ins of unlocked vehicles in town.

SWAMPSCOTT, MA — Swampscott police are once again urging residents to keep their vehicles locked while unattended after the latest rash of thefts.
Police said there have been "several" recent car break-ins in town and that all vehicles had one thing in common — they had been left unlocked.
"Thieves typically won't waste time entering a locked vehicle unless there are valuables visible," police said. "Simply locking your vehicle and hiding anything of value can protect you from becoming a victim."
