NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

SWAMPSCOTT PUBLIC SCHOOLS

SCHOOL CHOICE FOR SCHOOL YEAR 2017-2018

AND

SCHOOL COMMITTEE BUDGET FOR SCHOOL YEAR 2017-2018

Wednesday, January 25, 2017, Swampscott High School – Room: Auditorium, 7p.m.

The Swampscott School Committee will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, January 25, 2017, on the topic of School Choice for the School Year 2017-2018, according to Chapter 76, Section 12b, of the Massachusetts General Laws.

The Swampscott School Committee will also hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, January 25, 2017, on the topic of the School Committee Budget for the School Year 2017-2018, consistent with the provisions of Chapter 71, Section 38n of the Massachusetts General Laws,

These Public Hearings will be held at the Swampscott High School, 200 Essex Street,in the Auditorium at 7pm.

All interested persons shall be given an opportunity to be heard. A copy of the budget can be viewed in the Office of the Superintendent of Schools, 207 Forest Ave.,

between the hours of 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

The Public Hearing will be followed by a regular School Committee meeting.
