Swampscott Ranked Among 'Happiest' MA Towns: ICYMI

SWAMPSCOTT, MA — Smile, Swampscott residents — you're living in one of the happiest places in Massachusetts.

Swampscott was ranked No. 15 on Zippia's rankings of the "Happiest Places in Massachusetts." The rankings were based on employment, commute length, cost of living, home ownership, and marriage statistics, among other factors. In Swampscott, 75 percent of residents own a home and 60 percent are married.

Longmeadow was ranked No. 1 in the Bay State. Marblehead was ranked No. 10.
