Swampscott Resident Coronavirus Testing Closed Through Christmas

Swampscott will close the test site starting Wednesday through the holiday,.

SWAMPSCOTT, MA — The resident coronavirus test site in Swampscott will be closed for the next three days due to the Christmas holiday.

The test site is set to reopen on Dec. 26.

The town said that when testing resumes the site may not be able to test everyone who is seeking a test.

"Cataldo Ambulance may not be able to accommodate everyone who lines up to test," the town said.

Swampscott residents who need a test prior to Christmas, or unable to get a test this upcoming weekend, are asked to visit the "Stop the Spread" free testing sites, including the two in Salem.
