Swampscott Select Board Candidates To Speak At Veterans Forum
All Swampscott residents are invited to hear the residents speak to the Disabled American Veterans Chapter on April 15.
SWAMPSCOTT, MA — The three candidates on the ballot for Swampscott Select Board will talk with town veterans about their issues and concerns — as well as their general priorities for the town, if elected — on April 15 at the E.F. Gilmore Chapter's monthly meeting on April 15.
DAV Chapter 64 Commander Jeffrey Blonder said that incumbent David Grishman, Stefanie Neumann and Doug Thompson have agreed to be part of the joint forum at 9:30 a.m. at the Swampscott Veterans Crossing building at 8 Pine Street.
The three candidates are running for two seats in the April 25 town election. Grishman is running for re-election, while Select Board President Neal Duffy said last month he is not running for another term.
