Swampscott Students Honored At Lasell, Lehigh, Stonehill, UNH

These Swampscott students were among those recently earning academic or athletic distinctions.

SWAMPSCOTT, MA — These Swampscott students were among those recently earning academic or athletic distinctions at colleges, universities and schools across the nation.

Jacqueline Vaquerano graduated from the University of New Hampshire in December. She earned a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.

Leland Howe and Isabelle O'Toole entered Lehigh University as part of its class of 2026 this fall.

Pierce Friedman, a member of the Class of 2026, and Tyler Marshall, a member of the class of 2024, were named to the fall 2022 Dean's List at Stonehill College.

Tania Shadari, a Lasell University student, was named to the Dean's List for academic performance in the fall 2022 semester.

To be named to the Dean's List, Lasell students must complete at least 12 credits as a full-time student and achieve a semester GPA of 3.5 or higher.

Shadari also presented at the institution's annual Career Readiness Symposium.

Shadari gave an integrated marketing communications strategy and launch plan presentation using the application of tools and methods learned in their semester-long marketing communications course. The presentation incorporated the NACE competencies of equity and inclusion, professionalism, leadership, career and self-development, intercultural knowledge and effectiveness, and moral and ethical reasoning.

Joe Ford joined the Lasell University community this fall.
