Swampscott Summer By The Sea Concert Series Begins This Week
The seven-week concert series runs on the Town Hall Lawn with a beer garden and food.
SWAMPSCOTT, MA — Swampscott is set to kick off its annual summer concert series on Town Hall Lawn with Big Ol' Dirty Bucket on Wednesday night.
The seven-week concert series includes the music, food and a beer garden from Coastal Mass. Brewing of Beverly. Papa Freddo's Pizza will be on hand as a food vendor.
Concerts run from 6 to 8 p.m. each week. This year's premier sponsor is Sagan Harborside Sotheby's International Realty.

Concerts are weather permitting with updates provided as necessary on the Swampscott Recreation's Facebook page.
Funk band Big Ol' Dirty Bucket is scheduled for this week, with country band Pick Six on July 17, Grateful Dead tribute (and more) Moose Juice on July 24, and rock n' roll all-ages band Phillip Alexander & The Wild Things on July 31.

Vocal harmony pop & rock group She Will Have Her Way will perform on Aug. 7, American roots band The New GrownUps are set for Aug. 14 with blues guitarist extraordinaire Chris Fitz and his band scheduled to conclude the Swampscott By The Sea series on Aug. 21.
