Swampscott police told the Lynn Item that the homeowners present were charged after nearly 400 teens showed up Saturday night.

SWAMPSCOTT, MA — Hundreds of teenagers attended a Swampscott house party on Linden Avenue that included alcohol stations and the homeowners present Saturday night

Police told the Lynn Item that at least two teenagers were taken to the hospital with alcohol poisoning after police dispersed up to 400 teens from the house. Marblehead officers were called to the house for reinforcement to try to make sure none of the intoxicated teens drove away from the party.

Police told the Item that the homeowners were charged with furnishing alcohol to minors and disturbing the peace after they said word got out on social media and hundreds of more teens showed up than the 80 to 100 who were expected.
