Swampscott Veterans Deliver Outreach At Topsfield Fair
The E.F. Gilmore Disabled American Veterans helped initiate several benefit claims for deserving veterans on the North Shore.

SWAMPSCOTT, MA — Representatives from the E.F. Gilmore Disabled American Veterans of Swampscott took time out of the first two weeks of October to help out fellow veterans at the Topsfield Fair.
Chapter Commander Jeffrey Blonder said the program is part of the DAV outreach program and that members were able to initiate benefit claims for several deserving veterans over the 11 days of the Fair.
A seasonably sensational final weekend of mostly sunny skies and less-than-frigid nights led to a strong finishing weekend to the 204th Fair in its first COVID restriction-free run since 2019.
