Swampscott/Marblehead Sr Legion Continues To Roll.

The Swampscott/ Marblehead Sr Legion Baseball team has now moved into first place in District 8 picking up their eleventh win against Saugus Thursday in Swampscott winning 12-2. 

Andrew Raisner pitched five complete innings giving up six hits and two earned runs. 

Jake Cassidy (single, double)  got things going for Swampscott/Marblehead with a bases loaded double bringing in two runs.

Jordan Chmura had two hits, a double and a single knocking in two runs. Casey Stead, Al Wallach and Chris Murphy also had a base hit.

 Swampscott/Marblehead plays Haverhill Sat home at 5 p.m. and is at Peabody Sunday at 7 p.m.
