Swampscott's Walker Road To Get A Facelift

Public input is sought as the town begins to discuss work on the road that connects Route 1A and Humphrey Street.

SWAMPSCOTT, MA — A community meeting is scheduled for April 5 to discuss proposed improvements to Walker Road as part of Swampscott's Complete Streets program.

The virtual meeting will start at 6:30 p.m. where public input will be sought on improving the road that connects Humphrey Street and Route 1A through the Olmsted District.

The town's Department of Public Works and Office of Community & Economic Development offices will present design concepts and solicit input on "how we can work to make this neighborhood safe for all."
