Swamptoberfest Brings The Oompa Back To Town Hall Lawn

The event, which will run from 4 to 8 p.m., will include live music, food trucks, a kids' play area and —​ of course —​ a beer garden.

SWAMPSCOTT, MA — Swampscott's Town Hall Lawn will be transformed into a festive German celebration for the annual Swamptoberfest event on Sept. 10.

The event, which will run from 4 to 8 p.m., will include live music, food trucks, a kids' play area and — of course — a beer garden.

Harpoon Brewery, Viva tequila seltzer, Right Coast Spirits and UFO Brewery will sponsor the beer garden in partnership with the Swampscott Yacht Club.

Brian Maes and Paradise Rd. will provide the live music.

Among the food trucks there are scheduled to be Joe's on a Roll, Cindy's Pizza, Chicken and the Pig, Witchwhich ice cream and Kerri's Consessions.

The Swampscott PTO will have a dunk tank, and there will also be a blow-up obstacle course, slide, mini golf, Connect Four, corn hole and more lawn games.

Tickets are $5 per person with a maximum of $20 per family.
