Swamptoberfest Planned For Town Hall Lawn In September
The festival of craft beer, food trucks, live music and fireworks is set for Sept. 4.
SWAMPSCOTT, MA —A day of craft beer, live music and fireworks is planned for the Swampscott Town Hall Lawn in September as the town celebrated Swamptoberfest.
The event was last held in October 2019 because of the coronavirus health crisis.
The year's event will include beer from Harpoon and will also feature wine and food trucks.

The event is slated to run on Sept. 4 from 4 to 9 p.m. with fireworks at 8 p.m.
A kids' play area will be included.

A Swampscott Beer Garden event earlier this summer drew more than 1,000 attendees to the beach with the Swamptoberfest designed as more of a family-friendly event.
