The Walker Family

The house fire that occurred Monday morning at 25 Sheridan Road was at the home of Sarah and Bill Walker. Three of their children have participated in our CYO basketball program. Their oldest son, Joe, graduated from Swampscott High School last year. Their triplets; Nora, Sam, and Scott are Seniors at Swampscott High School this year. Sam is a member of the Basketball team, Nora was the Captain of the Field Hockey team, and Scott is an active participant in the High School Theater Program.

Sarah and Bill are currently staying with the Hale family who have graciously opened their home to them. The children are staying with various friends. In their words, they don't know what they need as yet, I think the shock of it all is still very present, but if I might make a suggestion, the kids have a very limited amount of clothing for now and if anyone would like to help I would suggest gift cards. Target..Olympia....CVS. The children are fine, they are more mature than one thinks and happy they are all safe, especially Joe, as his room was totally destroyed and he lost all of his things.

They will need the help of the community to get through this. If anyone would like to donate; they may contact Ingrid Hale. Her information is below.
