Swampscott Little League will hold its annual meeting and election of officers for the 2014 season on Monday, September 30, at 7:30 p.m. at Swampscott High School.
The meeting is open to parents, coaches, volunteers, and anyone with a vested interest in the operation of Swampscott Little League.
No more excuses. Now is your chance to get involved! A few hours per month is all it takes. Our league will not be successful without a small army of volunteers.

This year, we have several Board Members retiring after 10+ years of service. We absolutely need new members on our Board of Directors to execute next year and insure SLL is successful in future years.

1. Expanding Inter-League play beyond Nahant to Lynn Shore and/or Pine Hill
2. Rules regarding minimum/maximum playing time
3. How to maximize our fields and usage
4. Sustaining weekly clinics at all levels
5. Creating more summer and fall ball opportunities
6. Capital improvements
Please spread the word. On Sept 30 at 7:30 at SHS we will have open elections for our Board (25 seats). We are in need of:
1. More Active Board Members
2. More representation from Softball
3. Player Agent (handles draft, scheduling, registration, more)
4. Treasurer (financial management and banking)
5. Secretary (board minutes, communication, and more)
6. Vice President (Operations, succession)
7. Information Officer (web, social media, advertising)
8. Committee volunteers (Equipment, Field Maintenance, Fundraising)
