Troop 53 Assists With Postal Food Drive

BSA Troop 53 Activities

On Saturday, scouts from BSA Troop 53 helped with the Postal Food Drive. The scouts went to the Lynn Ladder warehouse where they unloaded mail trucks as they brought in food donations that the letter carriers collected. After the food was unloaded, the scouts helped sort the donations and then box them up for delivery to local food pantries.

About Troop 53:

We serve boys between the ages of 11 and 17 with interests in all-weather camping, hiking, backpacking, fishing, rock climbing, canoeing, whitewater rafting and community service while teaching the program’s tenets of character, citizenship and personal fitness.
